However, I’ve been a bit disappointed with the portion sizes lately. I usually get the Rueben, but they don’t put enough sauerkraut on it, even when I ask for extra. My custom orders often don’t turn out as expected, but I’ll continue coming here because the food is just that good!

You have got to be joking. I can’t believe how fantastic Mike’s deluxe sandwich was. The combination of meats, cheese, mayo, and bread was simply perfect. The portion sizes for the price are incredible, and they serve fresh fish daily! You can’t beat it.

A truly magical place for sandwiches. It’s a local favorite and an essential part of the area. Just like how pizza is iconic in New York or gumbo is in New Orleans, sandwiches are a must-try in Tacoma. This shop might not stand out at first glance, but that’s exactly what makes it so Tacoma. Great sandwiches with an open kitchen, and their selection of beverages and chips is huge, with two-thirds of the shop being a cooler.

This place is hands down the best deli in town—don’t let the exterior fool you. It’s the real deal. There’s usually a wait of about 15 minutes because it’s so popular, but I’m a regular now and I’ve never been disappointed.
